Why treat leachates?
Leachates are liquids produced from the combined action of rainwater and the decomposition of buried waste. They contain nitrogen-based pollutants (ammonia, NH₄), carbon-based pollutants (organic waste, COD), and heavy metals. Biological and/or physico-chemical treatment is therefore necessary before discharge into the environment. APRO Industrie’s tanks provide effective, customisable solutions for this purpose.
