FAQs – Liquid Storage
How to store liquids?
Liquid storage needs a tailored approach to each liquid. APRO Industrie specialises in the design of custom-made solutions, taking into consideration the type of liquid, volume, environment and current regulations. Our experts will provide guidance when selecting the most suitable tank and equipment for your needs.
Which types of liquids can be stored in your tank?
APRO Industrie tanks are designed to store a wide range of liquids. We provide solutions to store drinking water, raw and demineralised water, urban and industrial effluents, methanisation and many other aqueous liquids. Our galvanised steel tanks are ideal for moderately aggressive environments, while our stainless steel, glass-fused-to-steel and epoxy steel tanks are specifically designed for harsh or corrosive liquids. Whatever your storage needs, APRO Industrie has the right solution.
What is the average lifespan of one of your tanks?
The lifespan of our tanks varies depending on the material used and the intended appplication, but it is generally very high. Our galvanised steel tanks, for instance, have a lifespan of several decades and require minimal maintenance. The glass-fused-to-steel or epoxy steel tanks provide lasting protection against corrosion, which extends their lifespan. Aluminium and stainless steel also have a remarkably long lifespan. With regular maintenance and inspections, our tanks can easily remain in service for over 30 years, offering excellent value for money.
