APRO Industrie Special-Risk Tanks

APRO Industrie’s storage solutions allow tanks to be constructed without welding or open flames, and without working at height (except for mounting purposes). APRO teams are MASE-certified and hold multiple professional certifications. They operate with constant attention to the strictest safety regulations.

Tanks adapted to all fire protection needs

APRO Industrie fire tanks are made from factory-prepared panels that are assembled on site using bolted connections. Thanks to their modular design, they can be installed in basements, car parks, or other tight or hard-to-access spaces.

The metal walls and bolts are typically made of galvanised steel, though other materials are also available, including aluminium, stainless steel, vitrified steel and epoxy-coated steel.

Technical features of our special-risk tanks

The watertightness of bolted steel tanks is primarily ensured by a PVC-armoured liner that is cut to the tank’s dimensions. This liner forms the base of the tank and rests on puncture-resistant felt, which is placed over the concrete slab. Alternatively, watertightness can be achieved by applying a mastic sealing between each panel and on each bolt before tightening them.

Standards and certifications for special-risk tanks

Our tanks comply with fire-extinguishing standards and guidelines, including APSAD, NF EN 12845, NFPA, FM Global, and CEPREVEN. They ensure optimal water quality and retention before use in various fire-extinguishing networks.
