APRO Industrie Special-Risk Tanks

APRO Industrie’s storage solutions allow tanks to be assembled without welding or hot work, while minimising work at height during installation. APRO teams are MASE-certified and hold several industry-recognised certifications. They operate with constant attention to the strictest safety regulations.

Tanks adapted to all fire protection needs

APRO Industrie fire tanks are manufactured from factory-prepared panels and assembled on site using bolted connections. Thanks to their modular design, they can be installed in basements, parking structures, or other tight or hard-to-access spaces.

The metal walls and bolts are typically made of galvanised steel, though other materials are also available, including stainless steel, glass-fused-to-steel and epoxy-coated steel panels.

Technical features of our special-risk tanks

The watertightness of bolted steel tanks is primarily ensured by a reinforced PVC liner that is factory-prefabricated to the exact dimensions of the tank. This liner ensures the watertightness of the tank and is installed over a puncture-resistant geotextile layer, which is placed over the concrete slab. Alternatively, watertightness can be achieved by applying a mastic sealant between each panel and on each bolt before final assembly.

Standards and certifications for special-risk tanks

Our tanks comply with major fire protection standards and guidelines, including APSAD, NF EN 12845, NFPA, FM Global, and CEPREVEN. They ensure reliable water storage and optimal performance for all types of fire protection systems.
