Draining Operations
The maintenance visit involves completely draining the tank to allow a full visual inspection and thorough internal cleaning. This work is carried out under strict safety procedures to help maximise the service life of your tank.
- Complete internal inspection
- Thorough cleaning to extend the tank’s lifespan
- Immediate replacement of defective parts when required
- Supply and installation of a manway where required
- Detailed report to support ongoing monitoring of the tank's condition
- Work carried out in compliance with a strict HSE protocol
Complete Internal Inspection and Cleaning
The maintenance visit begins by fully draining the tank to allow access to its interior. Once empty, our teams carry out a thorough visual inspection of the tank's walls, floor and internal equipment. If necessary, the tank floor is cleaned to remove deposits and prevent fouling or premature corrosion.
Secure Access via a Manway
The work is carried out through a side manway located near the base of the tank. This secure access point is required for any internal work. If your tank does not have one, APRO Industrie can supply and install a manway of the appropriate size (cylindrical, square or rectangular) and material (galvanised or stainless steel).
Replacement of Worn Components
The visit also includes inspection of internal components, such as the valves, piping, immersion heaters, gauges and convection chambers. Our technicians can replace any worn or defective parts directly on site to ensure the continued reliability of your tank.
A Comprehensive Service Report
A detailed service report is provided at the end of each visit. This includes our findings, any anomalies detected, parts replaced and recommendations for short- and medium-term maintenance or repairs.
