Glass-Fused-to-Steel at a Glance
Glass-fused-to-steel is produced by fusing glass to steel at high temperatures. This unique material combines mechanical strength and chemical resistance, ensuring exceptional durability and watertightness.
Technical Properties of Glass-Fused-to-Steel
Glass-fused-to-steel is manufactured using a high-temperature fusion process at approximately 850°C, ensuring strong adhesion of the glass to the steel. It is resistant to corrosive operating environments, pH variations and high temperatures. Each panel is electrically tested at 700V, 1100V or 1500V to ensure coating integrity and manufacturing quality.
Suitable Areas of Application
Bolted glass-fused-to-steel tanks are used for the storage and treatment of industrial effluents, drinking water, or process water. In addition, they are suitable for use in anaerobic digesters, hydrolysis tanks and treatment tanks within the food industry.
